H.E. Eng. Noura Al-Fassam, Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, along with H.E. Ambassador Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the United States of America, met with Mr. Geoffrey Pyatt, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Bureau of Energy Resources, and Ms. Amy Holman, Acting Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, on the sidelines of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings held in Washington DC. The bilateral meetings centered on strategic economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, as well as potential avenues for collaboration in the energy sector.
